Leigh Timmis on the 14th June  2010 set off on his three year, 30.000 mile round the world cycle ride from the steps of the Council House Derby.

Waved off  by the Mayor of Derby Cllr Amar Nath; Leigh,  as well as fulfilling his own personal goals, is supporting the Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre by providing holidays, with the donations made to his website, for less fortunate children from the county.
